His Success Is Yours - You Too Are Called To Succeed

God has promised believers that we shall be the head and not the tail. Whilst it is true that all 'heads' may not operate at the same level and/or on the same arena, the point is God cannot lie. If He said it, then it is because He knows that it Is possible and there is room enough for all to be the head. As believers, God wants us to love one another enough to provoke one another to greater works. He wants to assure us that there is room enough for us all to excel.

Unfortunately, it would appear that we often forget this truth so that we sometimes find ourselves working hard and tirelessly to destroy our brother and/or sister in Christ; doing all we possibly can to ensure their lives are not improved.  This behavior would not be unexpected coming from unbelievers. Heaven would even often use it for good despite the pain it may cause the believer in the immediate, like in the case of Jesus, but coming from believers, it is inexcusable. At the end of the day when we all stand before our Father in heaven, I wonder how it would feel seeing sibling we worked hard to destroy.

1 Corinthians 2: 7 & 8 "No, the wisdom we speak of is the mystery of God —his plan that was previously hidden, even though he made it for our ultimate glory before the world began. But the rulers of this world have not understood it; if they had, they would not have crucified our glorious Lord."

I know that some believers who destroy other believers have done it for so long that they now don't know what to do to bring out about that required change that allows them accommodate other people's success, rejoicing with those who rejoice. It is for such people that I write today. It is not too late to make a change no matter how old you are. It just takes letting God work with you to help you see who you truly are, that is who He made you to be and who He is so that you know the greatness of your father. If we can get a grasp of those two major facts, then we know for certain that the success of other believers can only be our general success too.

John 13: 3 "Jesus knew that the Father had given him authority over everything and that he had come from God and would return to God."
The knowledge of this truth was on His mind as He washed the feet of His disciples. He knew that washing their feet did not make Him any less but instead it gave them the opportunity to be great and He was okay with them being great. No matter what excuses or reasons you may give yourself to justify having a problem with any one's success particularly another believer's success, you have a problem and you owe it to yourself to deal with it so please deal with it. The only reason you notice all the things you consider irritating that they may do, is because you have the problem inside you. You are called to succeed too.
